Specialty coffee taught us to look beyond flavour. To understand origin, process, roasting, producers and, above all, the care behind something made well.

And once you learn to recognize quality, you start looking for it everywhere.

Our connection with different cultures, and with Brazilian, Mediterranean and European gastronomy, broadened that perspective even further. Every tradition has its own way of turning simple ingredients into something meaningful — and that made us value our roots, the knowledge behind each product and the respect owed to the people who make it.

Baroca grew from that curiosity and the desire to discover good things, understand where they come from and share what is truly worth discovering.

From wanting to discover better things. To understand where they come from, how they are made and why some experiences stay with us while others simply pass by.

For us, quality is not about excess or luxury. It is about care, time, origin, technique and respect for the product.

And that matters even more at a time when everything seems to cost more. When we choose something, we want that choice to have real value — in flavour, in experience and in the story behind it.

The products may change. The discoveries may change too.

But our standard remains the same: to choose, create and share things we genuinely believe are worth it.
